SillyScope

An Oscilloscope that Nobody Would Use - Introductory Embedded Project for Beginners!

This is a DIY Oscilloscope project aimed at embedded beginners. It has a one-page schematic and a few simple requirements:

• 2 input channels,
• Graphic display to visualise 1 channel,
• 0 to 3.3V range,
• Accurate to 500KHz (roughly at least 10 samples per period),
• Data streaming and logging to PC over USB,
• Small form factor,
• Buttons for channel activation and toggle streaming,
• LED indicators for power, channel activity and recording.

SillyScope can be prototyped on a breadboard using an STM32 NUCLEO-L432KC Development Kit. The simplified prototype schematic and BOM can be found here and will feature in an upcoming video:
